I know I am gonna make it my mission to watch it this summer I have had the DVD for years just never got round to watching it. That sounds an awesome way to spend your birthday! I'm a massive star wars geek I'd love to do something similar with that.

I first seen labyrinth on vhs in the early 90's.

It took time to become a classic.

Ok it may be a bit "naff" but a Jim Henson classic.

I'm a child of the 80's and my friends and I always loved gremlins, Goonies, stand by me, ferris beuller, back to the future etc... Don't remember anyone liking labyrinth. In fact the wife was the first person I remember meeting that liked it! Now it seems way more popular than it was at the time. She watches it at least a few times a year and now she's got our daughter into it, Bowie's codpiece continues to haunt me!

I remember being a little wigged out by Bowie, but Sir Didymus, The Bog Of Eternal Stench, the caterpillar at the beginning, the conversation in the mirror with Hoggle at the end... Makes me smile just thinking about them!
