What do you go for?

Open sandwiches?

Crisps and dips?

nuts and olives?

Salad and carrot sticks?

Cheese and crackers?

Loads of the above and even more booze?

No samosas, bhajis, quiches, mini pizzas, miscellaneous little savoury pastry things, coleslaw, potato salad plus all of the above? The original buffet list in the OP is more of a nibbles table than a proper buffet. The trick is to build your plate structurally. And if possible use a breadstick dam to keep moist foodstuffs away from crunchy until you are ready to combine the two.

Ooh, I forgot kabanos or similar dry spicy cured sausage efforts. And empanadas (although they may be covered under the miscellaneous savoury pastry category).

Pretty much everything. And if it's all you can eat I take that as a challenge
