Have you ever met anyone famous and were they how you expected them to be?

Yep and they were very down to earth, sociable and fun to be around. As I hoped they would be given the context so not a surprise.

Met David Bowie and Sean Connery as they were watching their boys play rugby. Had a good chat with them before being called on. They just seemed like enthusiastic Dads watching their boys play rugby, remember being really chuffed I'd met them

Jimmy Carr, sarcasm on a whole new level.

Sean Kelly off Auction Hunters, nice guy.

Jet from gladiators, hot.

Loads of famous strongmen, all nice guys.

your imagination

Quite a few - mostly musicians and comedians as I had 2 night clubs and used to run occasional concerts or comedy festivals out of them when I was in my 20's. Some were just as expected, some were very different - was like someone flipping a switch when they'd go on stage

A few. All through work. One is a regular customer of mine and has been in Poldark and a ton of bit parts in series over the years. He's a bloody nice fella and not at all up his own arse.

Also, about ten years or so ago I did a load of work in a place that Gillian Anderson was doing up and she was also very lovely and personable. But if you wanted to ask anything pertinent to the job she would turn to her ever present PA and it would get put on the list to get back to you. First time working for folks with PAs.

I've not met any famous people, but I've known quite a few American politicians and they range from nice to horrible and from honest to disingenuous. Pretty much as you'd expect.

I haven't reaaaaally met anyone famous but I did serve the members of the Dire Straits on the first night at a new job. The only impression I got of them was that they all liked fish and chips.

I also came very close to meeting Brian May at the same job too until one of the managers took his food to him herself. He also got a massive meaty tapas platter, which would've been a disaster as he's a vegetarian.

I used to wait outside theatres when I went to see musicals and plays in London to get autographs. Most famous person I met that way was Rupert Everett when he was in Pygmalion. Fairly grumpy but allowed me to take a photo of him. Kara Tointon was far more cheerful and we had a brief chat

I got to meet Ben affleck at a private screening of Paycheck. He is a massive bloke, I'm 6'3 and he was bigger and broader than I am. Nice guy but was surrounded by loads of adoring women.

I spent the best two hours of my life sat in the corner talking to a small unassuming man from Hong Kong and his wife. We talked about Hong Kong, America, he showed me pics of his family and spoke warmly about his beloved gran daughter.

I remember my partner at the time asking me why I sat with this guy that no one was interested in and chatted shit about 10 feet from Ben affleck.

Darling, I said, that man is Hong kongs greatest living legend director John woo and no one here except me even knows what he looked like. Fuck Ben affleck, I got John woo all to myself.

Met Michelle heaton at the same showing, she let my partner lick her new tattoo, kinky cow.

Met limp bizkit frontman Fred durst at the Hyde park show. I say met, he was running to the stage and ploughed right into me. Me being about a good foot taller wasn't fazed but it took him a minute to get up. He invited me backstage for a beer.

Once beat some famous band at pool in my local, I was so pissed I have no idea who they were but my friend said they were famous. Still can't remember who they were.

Gaynor Faye is not charitable, I was doing a charity bag pack with work colleagues at Tesco Seacroft and she walked past my colleague who was shaking a collection bucket, she put her hand up and said no, it was for funds for a children's hospice
