When pregnant I craved Pears soap. I would lather it up to make it go clear and shiny amber then would bite into it. Of course it was Pears soap and tasted vile but I couldn't stop craving for the feeling of it in my mouth and the initial bite! Makes me shudder if I see it on the washbasin in anyones home now!!

Although i didnt eat it, i craved the smell of peach and i was obsessed by the colour peach. Had the odd food craving when pregnant but nothing really stands out.

Although i dont have a sweet tooth and hate jame i used to stand and spoon jam out of the jar and eat it when i was due my period.

Kate didn't have any cravings but my mom used to chew rubber

I can remember her cutting my teddybear water bottle into little strips and eating it when she was having my brother.

It was tough in the 60's

Fruit, grapes by the kilo three times a day. Ice with my last one, I was told that craving ice was a sign of being anaemic, which I was.

I looked it up on net craving ice and your right .Ice craving is a condition called pagophagia, or compulsive eating of ice. This is a form of pica, a condition in which people crave and eat non-food substances like ice, chalk, paper, laundry soap, starch, hair, dirt, clay, or paint.

My god i am a pagophagia , lol

From time to time, I have been known to stick a finger into the mayo or peanut butter jar and eat the stuff off my finger.

Woman in the paper today has got a craving for furniture polish, she sprays it on her fingers and licks it off. She is worried that it might harm her unborn baby, but cant stop doing it!
