The uncovering of a forum catfish got me thinking, have any of you been catfished on here? As in met someone and they turned out to be completely different to their pics/description etc? Ever meant to met someone who turned out to be a different sex than they said they were? I'm just interested to see if it happens much on here.

I haven't been catfished myself, but someone I used to go to school with used my pictures all across social media (including a couple on here) to catfish other people.

When I next go catfishing I'm picking 7 or 8 out of 10ers for my fake profile!

Perfect 10s arouse way too much suspicion!

At least people know I'm not catfishing - nobody in their right mind would choose THIS face to entrap the ladies!!

I had no idea until a couple of thousand of my twitter followers started talking about it and pointing out all the other social media. I didn't know he had used them on here until three days ago.

It never ends too well on the catfish TV show. If someone is more interested in personality (barring the absence of honesty) then probably someone who turns up looking like crap is good enough.

Nope. But in my early days on here I shared a few messages with another 'girl' but something just didn't feel quite right. The attempts still happen but I don't give them the benefit of the doubt and continue the conversation these days.

I've seen a few fake pic doozies on the forum over the years as well. They normally brazen it out.

We've never been catfished. We are quite canny... Cal is particularly good at spotting dodgy profiles.

Mostly meeting in clubs helps too.
