Haha yes I do this.

I always leave my bags for life in the car too as I think I'm only going in for 2 things, come out with 2 new bags for life full of stuff.

I am now in the habit of bringing a list.

They're the main culprits!

I actually need more washing up liquid, I have bleach but fresh out of wipes!

Many many times I've done exactly that. We tend to buy our meal ingredients daily and I regularly forget the main one, be it meat or the veg'.

I've done that too. And I also go over the list but at least it means I don't forget anything.

.

I'm really anal about shopping - I write a plan based on the shop layout (including branded items) and follow that.

I think I've only forgotten something once before.

Yep, I'm ridiculous.

Do it so many times, go for one specific thing, buy a load of crap I didn't really need and forget the one item I actually went for

I did my shop on Monday and forgot a few things. Had to send my daughter to go and collect them. I normally try to do a list but was trying to be clever and do it myself x

Nope, do it all the time.

Even go to get something for tea, spend shit loads and then forget the thing on having for tea, so improvise with crisps or something.

I am guilty of this too.

What I do sometimes when i just want the odd item (milk sugar coffee) is go to my local shop. I know it will cost more but I would rather spend an extra 50p on a jar of coffee and go to asda and get the same coffee 50p cheaper.. but spend £30 on other items. I am so weak!

I'm particularly good at going in for 1 or 2 items, not bothering with a basket, then end up juggling about 15 items by the time I get to the checkout

Lidl is bad for adding extras on my shopping.

They always have a useful tool or gadget on the weekly offers, that I realise I really "need"!

Lists are to be forgotten at home. When you get back and tick the items off then 30% of the list is in. The rest... well... I could need it!!!
