What food do you eat that your embarrassed to admit to? You've eaten through childhood and now as an adult your still chomping away at it.

They're normally simple, easy to make snacks.

Mine is Mayonnaise sandwiches. 2 slices, mayo - done.

If it was embarrassing, we probably wouldn't mention it, but a similar sandwich to the mayo one is a tasty tomato ketchup sandwich, has to have butter/spread on the bread though. Or a sugar sandwich, If you can be bothered with the additional fuss, make toast, butter it and sprinkle sugar on and pop it back under the grill to melt then cool and get crunchy again. Unless you're in the mood for a good old crisp sandwich, ideal when eaten with a bite of banana at the same time.

The odd thing I used to eat as a teenager and I have no idea why or how I didn't manage to be ill, but it was the 70s, was the occasional sausage from the fridge. Raw sausage, I mean. Not bacon, the rind was too chewy, just a raw sausage. That's a food I rarely eat cooked nowadays.

Occasionally I get a hankering for cheese spread and sweetcorn sandwiches.

God knows how I thought that would be a good idea in my youth.

Maybe because the spread keeps the sweetcorn in place and stops it falling out

I was too embarrassed to admit this but seeing as you mentioned it, I love eating raw bacon rind - even though I religiously cut any other type of fat off meat. When I was a kid I actually used to fish them out of the bin because my mum always threw them away and wouldn't let me have them

Is there something wrong with drinking vinegar ?

Guilty of microwaving 2 frozen chocolate eclairs on defrost setting whilst eating 2 which are still frozen. In my defence, they're smaller and frozen cream is ice cream, isn't it?
