Stottie Cake is like a large wheel of unleavened bread and Pease Pudding is basically a soft yellow spreadable concoction formed by boiling down marrowfat peas and bicarbonate of soda seasoned with salt and pepper.....

Bloom'in lovely when it's spread hot or cold on a Stottie with lashing of real butter and English mustard ,,,,,

A seriously quick and cheap indulgence

My comfort food is toad in the hole, mash and onion gravy

Until it doesn't taste the same and then it is not comforting at all.
