Do you think you would date more (if you are single obviously).

If you are a couple do you think swinging is taking over your social life... would you have more 'normal' nights out with friends if you werent in this lifestyle? Sometimes meet couples who seem to do little else. It seems to be working for them.... for now anyway.

We use this as fun when it suits us both, but find some couples are impatient if you say cant meet for a few weeks, we like to have a normal social life too which seems to be missing with some. We find the site addictive to want to check regularly, but dont have enough hours in a week to meet as some obviously do. Great question by the way x x

As a couple we do lots both together and single that is not swinging related.. but having said that.. we dont really _iew what we do as swinging..

Its more shopping online for some fun..

If work and circumstances didnt get in the way I think we would do it way more.. its not that the sex itself would take over, just that we both pretty much are like that 24/7...

And actually compared to before we met and began exploring our sexual world together, we are both meeting loads less random people..

We haven't played this year, although we have had a few social dates.

I, Jack, am here in the forums most days and sort of fullfill my craving by conversing with you lot, lol.

We have another couple of socials lined up, but due to other reasons, family stuff, we can't really say when we're going to play again.

You never know though, might get a wink, then a message and may be someone will shag our brains out tonight

if i didn't have this site to rely on, my sex life would be none-existent!!! i don't have time to socialise outside of children, work and degree....i think my laptop would go into porn overload although, one more year to go, then i can have a normal life again

my dating has really mostly been casual sex encounters, from the various dating sites before i found a more lets say open types of websites.In fact what dating sites i'm still on...i migt start actually just saying im into swinging as that probably the only type of partner i want now...wheni want one...or one that wants me lol

I no longer meet as I'm with someone but I love the forums. I don't live with my other half, and that won't change anytime soon. He's back today after working away, but after surgery no playing for me til mid August!

I have less sex now with a partner than I did playing, but it doesn't matter as sex is and never will be the priority in my life.

I tried the dating sites and found that most guys were ultimately looking for sex by promising the earth so, decided that this site was more honest. I have a very good social life outside Fabs. This is for fun

Interesting concept - there is something to be said about being open about one's swinging habits even when dating. I find swingers (even at socials) so much more fun as they tend to be more open and generally speaking less judgmental and conventional than vanilla flavoured people

I stopped because a normal date is going to ask why I shave my legs, which brings us back to swinging. If she bolts I might as well go back to swinging. IF she stays she's a swinger, or at least into tgirls.

I mostly meet guys (don't get a lot of requests from women and I like hanging out more than playing with other CDs) but I wouldn't meet guys if I were dating normally. Don't ask me why, I still haven't figured it out after over ten years.

Interesting replies. Sometimes just makes me wonder.... single guys are what we are into and these do come and go... sometimes starting to see a girl and leaving only to return when it goes sour. I think they use Fab as a bit of a stop gap inbetween relationships. Seems reasonable. The others who stay for long periods and meet a lot, I just wondered if this actually reduces their desire to date properly and there maybe doesnt help their chances of meeting someone and settling down.

That is such a good point...I wonder whether the experience of swinging.. almost makes a person less suitable for a vanilla relationship?

The women I was dating had had their kids, or never wanted any, so I wasn't going to have a family of my own. That definitely affected my choices.

I can do vanilla...just choose not to lol...and besides...I actually like the people ive met, un-sexwise too lol, as a single guy, yes I do want more as its a bit emptying soulwise(knocked on my hollow heart..sniff), but am far from ready for leavin the scene, even if i wasnt actively playing..and to my new vanilla-partner...am sorry, some of the people ive met are friends...not gonna lie to ya how i met them lol-fuck...why am i talking to someone non-existant lets just call her USER NEVER BEEN ON SITE lol

I believe dating is good. All couples should set aside "date" time for each other no matter how long together.

Don't see a conflict between dating and swinging quite honestly. Trick is to enjoy yourselves that's all.

At least swinging is a lot more honest.

Also being bi-sexual, and truly bi-sexual, not just because a boyfriend likes the idea, or because it is fashionable, to date, would be denying part of myself.
