So after signing up to this site about a year ago and being quite careful who I wanted to meet (which I don't think is a crime

?... ) I had my first meet a few weeks ago, gorgeous guy, great sex, I was a happy lady, then last night I get a text from a number I don't recognise saying that the guy iv met of fabswingers has passed my number on. I'm absolutely fuming! Feel like my trust has completely been abused and my first swinging experience tainted! Thoughts on this...?? Has it happened to anyone else? Is it assumed that all ladies will be willing to sleep with any men? The last question is a little rhetorical but its seems that way for my number to be passed on! Sorry for the rant I'm just so annoyed! Xx

First thought: His missus has found out (if he has one).

Second thought: One of his other meets has got hold of his phone.

I doubt the text came from one of his 'friends'.

Lastly... get yourself a cheap pay as you go mobile from a supermarket (£10). Call it your 'shagging' phone and only give that number out to people you meet off here or any other sites similar. NEVER give your regular mobile no. out unless complete and utter trust is formed through friendship. That way, you'll never feel like you do right at this very moment in time xx

Would you then want admin to ban you? There is no way to prove it!

As Frock said above, use a cheap PAYG number for swinging so that if your number does get passed around you can change it easily enough. You've been unfortunate and the guy has been a total scumbag but what happens outside of the site is beyond the remit if what Admin can do, and they most assuredly won't act upon a report from one party without contacting the guy concerned for his side of the story. Then it's a case of who do the believe the most - you did give him your number and it isn't a crime to pass it on, especially if the person he gave it to conned him into thinking you had given some sort of permission to ask him for it.

Admin won't take one persons word for it. They will look to see if other similar complaints have been made about the profile owner then take action if needed.

ALWAYS report if you think something isn't right. If we all kept quiet then the idiots will have a riot on here!

It's a learning curve we've all experienced: we're all slightly naïve when we start. Don't let one experience put you off: the majority of men on site are ace!

difficult one this thats why most women i know have a second mobile for this stops stalkers too, as for admin stopping people doing this can only happen if reported, if start getting more texts then you know its his wife checking up on him if it was me call the new mobile number from a landline and withhold number to see who has texted you his wife or maybe another guy so can bollock him!!

I didnt say there was anything stopping this thing happening. But the option to report wouldnt be there if admin wherent going to at least look into it.

Someone said how can you expect admin to do anything about something that takes place away from the site. There will always be people wanting to "set people up" from the girl that crys rape to the police to someone saying they have been abused.

just playing devils doodah here but why is trust the least you should expect? you gave your personal number to a man yo dont really know in order to have sex with him

you have no idea if this man is trust worthy or not and while we would hope that everyone is aboe board and lovely, one glance over the forums wil show you they arent!!

i have had this happen but unfortunately not sure who passed my number on. lickily the person who tried ringing me took the earbashing i gave him well and respected my request never to contact me again.

has it stopped me giving out my no? nope lol but i accept the risks that giving it out brings

Ok, have read all the comments in forum and fail to see how this was the posters fault so she should learn a lesson from it. Also, it could have been a swing phone as apposed to a private one.

What I would say it that if you need to verify someone by talking to them first, ask for their number and ring them with your number withheld. You can then arrange to meet them through Fab knowing you have spoken to them first.

If, after the event you feel comfortable with giving your number out, go for it.

That said, by all accounts you did feel comfortable with this man so had no reason not got give him your number.

It all comes down to the sort of people who use these sites and it is something you need to anticipate along with the stalkers and people who stand you up.

Grow a tough skin and don't let them get to you. I'm sure you will have other meets who are genuine and show the sados up for what they are

As others have said, using a play phone is a better option, as although it won't stop anyone giving out your number, at least they don't know your real number.

Late to the party on this one.. but yes I would be a bit put out..

I have a playphone so simple thing for me is to change it.. as rarely used for more than 2 or 3 people at a time.

But I would have played the original guy.. if he was passing out the number.. I would have took a chance on the chancer guy messaging.. Then made a big deal of how he was the best I had ever had.. Thank the other guy for sending him my way and tell him that I had never ever been fucked like it in all my life..

Never underestimate the wounds that can be applied to a mans ego..

oh... and sometimes things happen for a reason.. and my curious nature would have had me wondering.

yep i've had this happen to me a couple of years ago when i was on here previously. I was fuming too. And even after i said no he kept on texting me and got quite nasty. I had to threaten him with the police to get him to stop. Thing was...he was starting to scare me, saying he knew where i lived etc....was just a nutter, but was quite scary at the time.
