Mold

So who likes getting mucky in the garden ?

Just spent the best part of three hours out there, trying to knock some semblance of gardenhood back into it

I've left it for a couple of weeks, as I've been busy, and this weather has caused it all to run riot

I'm not a natural gardener. But now I've got to do the garden I enjoy doing some of it. Just don't like ing under my monkey puzzle tree. It's still too small for me to stand under and it hurts getting caught in the branches.

I'm loving the plants already flowering though. Nice to have some colour around x

Love a bit of landscaping. Just got my own place so I'll be working on getting yards to how I like them

Fire pit, bbq, vegetable patch. Get it all ready for next year

I love it!

Since getting my first house I've spent far too much time creating the garden I've always wanted; tackling my bushes and ing makes me so happy! I can't wait for it to be done - I've set myself a target date of the end of next month - I've got to paint the wall and jetwash next weekend.

I used to love it when I had one. An orchard at the top which backed onto a field full of cows, and I had a greenhouse where I grew tomatoes

Live in a top floor flat now though, so I might invest in a window basket next year

Our new house came with a couple of substantial, well-stocked gardens that had been allowed to go to seed for a few years while the house was empty.

The amount I've had to learn since moving in is incredible.

Things are starting to look up though. The plum trees I planted are fruiting, the alpine strawberries are flowering, the ivy has been hacked back into submission.

I have some large construction projects out in the back garden planned too. The bridge over the largest pond is sagging ominously so I'm planning on making a japanese style humpback bridge to replace it. I'm also going to build a Torii gate for the entrance into the "secret" back garden.

So many things!

I love gardening but just don't have enough time to do my garden justice which frustrates me hugely. Have spent a good few hours today sorting the front out only to have my neighbour comment 'oh, it looks so much better' which obviously means she thought it was a right state beforehand

I don't love it, it's bloody hard work. We have a big garden that is kind of in three sections. Decking, lawn/beds, veg bit/greenhouse. I've started to paint the pergola and I wish I hadn't bothered, there's more paint on me than it but it will look good once it's done

ive had a good hour or so pottering today - cut the lawns - got the spade down the edges that had grown over the flags in the frnt - all neat and tidy for now - used to have an allotment years ago now that was serious gardening

I love gardening but as I work full time and weekends are for kids or play I don't get out there as much as I like but my roses look and smell beautiful I get out there when I can X We have a patio area,pond, Apple, fig and hazel trees

Our garden is finally exactly how we want it, a year after our landscape gardener let us down and cancelled the job. When he cancelled we'd ripped the old structure out ready for him and had booked delivery of the hot tub.

We had someone in to pour a concrete slab for the hot tub so that we didn't have to delay getting it but everything else has been done by us, with some help from hubby's step dad.

We've built new decking, put a pergola around the hot tub, laid resin bonded patio (12 tonnes of clay dug out in prep for that) built three large brick raised beds and added a new greenhouse.

We've planted the raised beds with loads of veggies, we have dwarf fruit trees in huge containers, climbers in containers being trained to grow around the pergola and more containers with herbs at the edge of the decking.

I've suggested that we get an allotment next but hubby seems slightly less keen, I think he wants a rest lol

i go back indoors if my neighbour comes out while i'm gardening. nosey, interfering bitch that she is.

i love gardening and enjoy digging stuff up when i can. kinda like mowing the lawn too. got a saw to cut down a small tree tomorrow.

Ladybird larvae seem to be most effective against green fly. Garlic spray is recommended but hard to come by apparently.
