Do it, do it slowly and with people you trust. It takes time and there will be good days and bad days.

But if it's who you really are then keep going

I know someone doing this and it takes guts but is worth it

Baby steps. Talk to those who are lose to you and slowly work your way out.

Eventually it will run away from you as people talk and, once out, you can't change your mind and get back in the closet so be sure it's what you want.

They're many organisations in northern Ireland that can direct you to relevant support groups..

The rainbow project is probably the biggest and most widely known.. they offer support and guidance to many lgbt specific issues.

Good luck.

Yay, you changed your username OP

With regards to coming out take it slowly to start with. Most people have one person in their life they can talk about anything with. The kind of person who's always got your back no matter what. If you have someone like that they would be the natural person to confide in first. Start with the people in your life who you think will be the most supportive and accepting. If there are people you know who you suspect may take it badly i would wait a little while before telling them. Once you have told the "easy" people it will build your confidence to speak to the ones who may take it harder.

Good luck OP xxx

"Still coming out "

Post Op Trans Here.

Go to your GP. Get referred to a Gender Identity Clinic. There role is to help you in your transition. That may or may not include medical treatments. It depends on what is clinically necessary.

I would shy away from LGBT groups. From my personal experience they have little relevance to Transgender medical care and I would argue, are possibly even detrimental as they tend to sexualise what is a physical medical condition. Or worse politicise it. The GIC can point you in the direction of specialist gender therapy care and support.

Best of luck.

Seriously message me you can come meet me at work come for lunch and I can prove all I say. Question is can you? I doubt it there's only one transgender with the right to call herself female and it's not you.

Maybe not but when you make big claims putting down others as I have witnessed check yourself if you want. Best your able to back up your talk transgender people do not need knocking from people claiming to be superior.

I agree. These ladies need to take their "discussion" off this post. It really isn't helping the OP.

I agree. I'm not interested in some debate about who is or isn't trans. I'm interested in the OP getting the professional medical care she needs.

I can't speak for others.

"Haha ok point proved and we move on hope you learn respect for others as you really did loose your balls in more ways than one."

Point proved? You're very aggressively competative aren't you? That will be the testosterone. I hated that. Couldn't wait to use blockers, be limp dicked and have the thing reconstructed.

Respect for others? So explaining the NHS criteria for Transgenderism is being disrespectful? To whom exactly? TV/CD males with a gay sex fetish who aggressively demand to be legally accepted as Transgender because it suits the genitalia based politics of LGBT activists? And their egos?

"Loose my balks" and you think that is a respectful thing to say to a transgender woman? Because in reality it is transphobic hate speech.

Your aggressive trolling of me and hate filled insults paints a picture of you. It is clear that you are filled with trans-misogyny, driven I suspect by a lack of gender dysphoria, which to you makes you feel insecure about your own identity ie you like your penis and suffer no gender dysphoria, therefore are not medically recognised as Transgender / Transsexual

To you that is an offensive Trans hierarchy. To those of us who suffer a life of abuse from the earliest years, your aggressive insecurity against our medical identity and personal attacks are further examples of male aggression against females. In this case gay male transvestite transmisogyny.

Now...... whilst I enjoy reading your pathetic cries of "I'm a lady", this big butch bisexual Transsexual biker t'bitch cares more about the OP getting medical care. So if you wish to attack me, do it pm's. Your hate filled attention seeking Jade, is not helping the OP in the slightest.

So excuse me, but I have a motorcycle engine to rebuild. You see being trans has fuck all to do with frilly knickers or preferring make-up to camo cream. That's just offensive sexist bullshit.

No. Being trans is being born with a killer medical condition that means your body sex develops at odds to your mind.

If that is offensive to you, I suggest you get therapy for you bigotry.
