I could lie and tell you I've had 2978 views today to make myself look amazingly popular and fabulous... but what's the point?

View numbers mean nothing.... Most people (myself included) view without anyone ever knowing. Your location will also have an impact on your number of views.... If you're from a small rural area you're not going to appear in as many people's 'local updates' as someone from a city and of course publishing new pics or veris, and taking part in forum threads will always bump up your number of views too...

I've 274 so far today... about average for me I guess...

If I remember right, the max 800 occurred last year on my old profile. I updated my status to something like "suns out, tops off, who wants to play?"

I actually meant the top off my car. But with no message filters on, and a few cheeky later messages along the same vain, I got bombarded.

I think a lot on here just like the thought of fun. If I'd changed it to a proper "come meet me now" the numbers would have died instantly.
