Long story sort - So you've set a date to meet, even if it's just a social, you've got a date to meet up.

How much do you plan? Do you get a bag ready the night before? Do you just throw in clothes that are drying? Do you go shopping for something new?

How much effort do you put in?

Well for my next meet, I have a newish (charity shop find) dress already bought to wear, on the Sunday or Monday before we meet I will redo both my nails and toes in a gel varnish colour they like and I'll probably buy a new underwear set (just in case) and I need a new set anyway. Said meet will be in the next monthish so I definitely have a plan!

Always well dressed for social, smelling and looking like a Greek God.

Never plan for anything more unless I know it's a play meet, and on those occasions I call in the mobile hair and makeup specialist

Limbo

I always put a lot of thought and effort into my appearance in an attempt to look (and feel) as good as I can. If I hadn't done that I'd probably feel too self conscious to enjoy myself.

And I'd hope anyone I was meeting would do the same for me ...

If it's a first meet and definitely a social with no play, then the things I plan are how to get to/from the meeting place (usually a pub) and whether to eat beforehand. I might freshly shower.

If it's a play meet, I have a bag ready with toys and kink apparatus. If I am meeting a lady after work then I will take deodorant and a few toys that can be discretely deposited in the bag I bring to work.

Well I don't discuss the ins and outs of my meets on the forums, and my psychic powers are a bit rusty today so I couldn't tell you what might progress.

But I tend to talk for a while before I meet = I only meet those I'm really interested in = I make a particular special effort as the small details are important to me. I like to impress. So sue me.

Ih yes if possible I will brush my teeth before and will refrain from drinking beer on a social as they often end in kissing.

When accommodating at home or using a hotel I try to arrange timings so I can shower, shave and brush my teeth before she arrives.

The lady I am seeing after work today, however, is very sensitive to the smell of deodorant, toothpaste and mouth wash so I shall not use those things.

I like to plan. I pack a day or two before any trip. I usually have a route planned out and everything is in this proper place.

I have found that most people on fab aren't like this. It bugs me a bit, but everyone's different, I suppose. The only problem is that when I'm meeting someone who isn't a planner, I tend to not really plan anything - I go to the other extreme. Which is a bit shit because then no one is planning at all and it all comes together in a rush.

your imagination

If its a social meet I'll give some thought to the where and when, and plan my wardrobe/look around that (I ain't strolling into my local Costa at 11am on a Thursday looking like I'm about to go clubbing ).

If its a social meet which has a likelihood of escalating, or is a repeat meet, even more planning is involved, depending on how long it is since my last wax, haircut, etc. New lingerie most likely... Unless he has a thing for something in particular in my wardrobe, then I'll wear that. If I'm accommodating a hell of a lot of planning and prep is involved... Everything from food, music, scents, whatever it takes for the meet to flow smoothly and make the most use of the time, rather than looking for things or preparing things at the time and wasting precious time together.

That's not to say I can't be spontaneous and fun, just that I like to have all the essentials (and a few luxuries) at hand too

If it's a social, I will just make sure I'm dressed nice , smell nice and know where we're going.

If it's a play meet then it's a case of the works, shave, shower and nice underwear. Perhaps something he's requested, have bought new underwear in someone's favourite colour before. And if we're taking toys the bag packed the night before. X

I'm a total planner too. Don't worry, when you get your butts over to me I'll have everything planned to the last millisecond

"I plan. It actually irritates me not being able to plan as I like being in control and organising things. It depends on the meet really and, to an extent, who I'm meeting as to how far the planning goes.

If you know someone well, do you make more effort or know you can relax a little ?

Erm... it depends? Like one of my fbs likes a certain look so I make an effort for example. "

If your making the extra effort for someone, do you expect the same level of attention?

Yes, but for men it's different - well dressed, a bit shaved if needs be, smelling clean.

Whereas for me at least I put a lot of work in to feel really good. So shower, shave all those awkward bits, hair, make up, matching gel varnish on my fingers and toes, nice underwear and nice outer wear if the meet has the potential to move past a social.

Have to be prepared for any eventuality

In seriousness, I think about conversations we've had and any style of clothes that might have been mentioned and I'll try to match to that. I've never been asked to wear something specific though.

Everything is clean, shaved, teeth brushed etc even for social meets.

All depends on how convinced I am they're gonna turn up, how well we've got on etc.

Then, as time goes on and we get to know each other I just rock up at their place in my housework clobber and slippers and use their hot water to shower, eat all their food for energy and if they're lucky I'll make them a brew after the deed is done lol.

Social or play meets are fairly simple for us.

We are always bathed, smooth, clean clothes, teeth and clean hair anyway, everyday no matter what we are doing. I always have nice underwear on. I also always have nicely painted toe nails, body spray on and have used moisturiser on my body most days. I never have painted finger nails. I only have a tiny bit of make up on but its the same everyday regardless of what im doing. I have naturally wavy hair that does what it wants.

A social will be in a pub or cafe. Casual clothes always.

If its a play meet then all the same except when we get there we take our clothes off, put them in a locker and wear a towel or sarong

No bag to pack, just my handbag. No toys.

Easy peasey

My meets are usually planned a few days (or weeks ) ahead. In terms of prep if I'm going straight from work I'll make sure I pack a towel, toiletries and change of clothes so I can grab a shower and freshen up before I leave the office.

I'll tend to have mints and mouthwash too and have a swirl right before meeting them to be as orally fresh as I can be!!

I wear mismatched underwear in the same colour. I don't do matching underwear i'm afraid.

I wear something that i like that is comfortable and i blow dry my hair and put on a bit of slap and some perfume.

I don't go way over the top, particularly on sex meets, because i'm usually naked in seconds and some men get a bit rip happy in trying to get your keks off and frankly no man is worth having a favourite outfit ruined for.

Is that for any type of meeting/social? "

Yes. If going to a club then I would obviously meet the dress code.

Part of me agrees. I want to dress casual and comfortable with me. It I also know if the woman is dressing and making an effort for me, I want to do the same.

I'm in a constant battle what to do.

I wonder if this is why some people ask.

Brighton - even Hove!

Lots of effort and planning. I don't do last minute meets.

Don't think I mean dressing casual isn't making an effort. I mean, if I went out and bought a new shirt, which I don't normally wear. Or buy underwear of their favourite colour. That to me is making an extra effort on my side.

If I turned up wearing my jeans and t-shirt that I wear each day anyway. I feel casual.

*note to those who asked -why all the questions? I asked a question. I'm interested, I enjoy socials to do this type of thing as well. (Hint hint to anyone. I actually literally drink real coffee. )

I don't think I'd manage a 'meet now' type scenario!

I don't want people to have sex with me because they think I'm someone else. I prefer to be myself, and if they don't like that then they don't like that.

"Long story sort - So you've set a date to meet, even if it's just a social, you've got a date to meet up.

How much do you plan? Do you get a bag ready the night before? Do you just throw in clothes that are drying? Do you go shopping for something new?

How much effort do you put in?

"

When we go out it's always with a view to play so we ensure we are both clean , smart and ready to play

I enjoy dressing up, that's all part of it for me whether it's a social or a play meet. If it's a play meet then I'll take a bag of toys with me.

I like the other person to be comfortable. I'd hate for them to go to effort for a coffee social.

I don't get dressed up in case they don't turn up and I'm left sat there looking like an utter twat. But I don't look like a bag lady. I hope.

I'll plan and prepare for the outcome I expect... with maybe a little extra if things go better on the day. All in all I'll be clean and presentable (...but may have filth bouncing around in my head!)
