Its not heavy metal/thrash its for all rock including blues... rock covers a wide genre.. personally I hate thrash thats a different genre all together.. metal is different too

Exactly, I saw him at Monsters Of Rock back in the 80's and he gained everybody's attention no matter how pissed or stoned they were

Most people had either fallen asleep or gone to the bar while Meatloaf was on before him

I bet he was amazing at monsters of rock, i wish i'd been there. He was an amazing guitarist, one of the greats, loved the stuff he did with Thin Lizzy too, one of my favourite bands.

I only got to see Lizzy that one time, i wish i had seen them more times as i love their music and Phils amazing voice and poetic lyrics. Got all the albums though, all on vinyl.
