Sorry to hear that fella, depression can be a real issue for many I know it's not as easy as someone saying 'ah just snap out of it!'.

I hope you have adequate support and love around you to help you through the rough times. Good luck my friend

Sorry to read that OP.

Have you spoken to your GP about how you are currently feeling or do you have a CPN to speak to?

It's horrible when you feel low. Sometimes you have to do things in baby steps like going out just for 5 minutes and if you don't, that's ok too.

The Samaritans have a forum and their website has some really useful resources that might help.

And just chat away on here, thats why Fab is great there's always people about even in the middle of the night.

Be kind to yourself.

Sarah xx

Big White Wall is another online resource that my GP has recommended. Give that a try.

All the best.

Best thing you can do is open up, and it took me years!

You've passed the first step, so explore your options, try and find what's best for you.

Maybe start by contacting your gp, and have a chat, they can try and find the right solution to suit you.

Hey Dave!

Just sharing here is a big step. But do go talk to your GP.

I remember going through some depression and a friend telling me to drink a couple of pints of water and go for a walk in the woods and I'd feel a little better. Didn't (want to) believe him at the time, but it works. There are many little cheats like that to keep your head above water if not float comfortably until you get some decent help.

Meditation helped me a lot. I'd also recommend reading The Happiness Hypothesis and The Worry Cure.

You're not alone brother! Big love to you! X

Very sorry to hear you are suffering OP but what a brave step you have taken by talking about it on an open forum. Hopefully, you have an understanding doctor who can help you.

As mentioned above, a walk in the woods is my 'go to' when I'm having a black day. I also find yoga helps, lots of deep breathing to clear the head. Keep on talking about how you feel and know you are not alone. Take good care x

Takes some balls to share something like that. Especially with people you feel rejected by.

You've got some work to do.

Pulling yourself out of depression is hard. But it is possible and it is definitely worth it. There'll be help and support in various forms along the way but you'll have to do most of the heavy lifting.

If you wanna drop me a pm I'd be happy to chat and point you to a bunch of stuff that helped me!
