I love ed sheerans music but does anyone else think he is a twat, take castle in the hill words at the end of the song.... One friend left to sell clothes

One works down by the coast

One had two kids but lives alone

One's brother overdosed

One's already on his second wife

One's just barely getting by

But these people raised me and I can't wait to go home.......

Anyone else think he could of helped the one just barely getting by and give him a few quid.

He was on top gear and during the interview, he said he bought two of his crew cars, one being a Porsche. Songs are not alway sung by the songwriter, a lot of songs are based on memories, some ain't lol

I sort of see where he's coming with all that. Reminds me of the quote at the end of stand by me:

"I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?"

He's got a good song writing team with him and behind him. He's also got a decent legal team, as he's accused often of plagiarism & he often ends up paying damages & legal costs.

Last check, he had 7 more legal cases (against him) pending!

Agree though, great lyrics (whoever wrote them) songs & life observations.

Very talented musician for sure.

He was on the local news last night. He did a private gig for a little girl who's terminally ill. He seems like a nice guy to me.
