My "instrument" used to be my voice, with many happy memories of it, in use up and down the UK and across Europe in concerts in major churches, cathedrals, and other venues.

Career, work constraints & other commitments have just got in the way since. Sad!

My grandad taught me the piano and my two sisters when I was 8 years old. God quite good at it but he couldn't afford the professional fees for all of us so my older sister got to grade 6 with the help of a piano teacher but would have loved to have continued with lessons

Piano, guitar and violin. I used to teach the piano and was pianist for a male octet. Used to travel with them at weekends. I was 13...can't imagine that happening nowadays.

That said, I've not touched any instruments since I started a family: my eldest is 34!
