Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

According to the interweb, Central Park's crime rate is 71% lower than the national average. So, perhaps, not that many.

I don't have guilty pleasures - I own up to all the stuff I enjoy watching (NCIS has just finished).

I'd be more worried about living in Midsommer! If you live there then statistically there's a 50% chance of being murdered

Can watch and re-watch Law and Order but SUV makes me want to kick the tv in. I know it's only drama but it should be at least realistic, illegal searches, beating up witnesses and one episode one of the detective's son nearly beat a vagrant to death and he wasn't even arrested.

I hate those shows. No wonder the USA is drowning in an ocean of violence..

They go into spasms of outrage over a nipple popping out at a half time Superbowl show but the gory and violent snuff-o-tainment crime shows that saturate their terrestrial airwaves barely raise an eyebrow.

The USA is bizarrely puritanical.. depictions of sex bad, depictions of people being sliced up , blown to bits and any other sensationalists method of death the writers can devise is perfectly fine apparently, as long as it's cynically framed flimsily in a moral context. P'lease.

There was a completely uncensored use of 'cunt' on The Good Fight last night. It is odd what you see on American shows.
