I have a few slip on shoes, but the rest are laces.

Velcro? Not since I was about 10

i like the zip conversion panels in boots, makes for getting muddy boots on and off easy without getting wet muddy hands from lacing and i think velcro would gack up pretty quickly..i stick the zips in, put a keyring loop in the zip and hey presto, one fingertip gets me in and out of them easily after stomping about in some mud pit all day!
