So what type of messages do women and couples like to hear? Doing research here?

A)polite messages

B)dirty talk

C) tease with some imagination

What type of message would stand out from the 100s people recieve from single guys.

TIA

We're happy to receive a short, first message just saying hello and who a person is. For us its about the profile.

I've never had more than 5 messages in my in box. Surprised? No?

Anyway. The ones that stand out are the ones that I'm talking to already and it's a follow in conversation.

I'm not a woman but anecdotal evidence seems to suggest that a first message that is overtly sexual or explicit tends not to be received too well when received from a stranger (build up to that over time!).

I'm sure the ladies will confirm or otherwise!

The ones more wordy than "hi" but shorter than a Readers Wives story.

Certain men get priority in my inbox

Sexual messages irritate me tbh, the presumption that I'm immediately up for it with every random stranger online is a tad crass in my book.

A wins every time.

I don't want to be teased or spoken dirty to by a stranger or a faceless profile. Ew

We don't mind any type as long as they are coherent.

Start with A and move on to C, moving on to B once your both comfortable. You wouldn't walk up to a lady in real life and say "alright luv? Fancy getting your laughing gear around this" now would you

Polite and respectful. I kinda like them a bit cheeky but not overtly sexual.

The amount of guys' messages we have deleted because of the crass nature of their opening message is unreal.

We're looking for a polite guy with a sense of humour that my wife can connect with. We prefer to send them over to kik and talk further there.

If you're polite you get your foot in the door, if you're rude you're binned without a message back.

Polite's always a winner and a face pic not a dick pic.

(Nessarosa writing)

We prefer polite, with a wee introduction and references to similar likes or parts of our profile (it shows that they have read our profile).

Creativity and not writing in text speak.

Also as said above, a face photo and not a dick photo.

Xxx

i don't get why people think dirty chat is a valid option to someone you don't even know?

it knocks me sick to get a message like that off guys i don't find attractive.
