i was just looking at a profile and it got me thinking. they stated they are proffesionals and only meet proffesionals.

now thats all well and good but the profile was littered with spelling mistakes and text speak. i would assume a proffesional is someone who is a high earner which usually would be coupled with a high level of intelligence.

before anyone asks i am a high earner and must have high intelligence as i manage a team of engineers that on some jobs equates to 60 people. but i class myself as common as muck

I think there's a lot of professional taxi drivers, shop assistants, factory workers and agency staff on here. There must be 80% who have a job state they're professionals.

Pick on me for my spelling all you want its water off a ducks back. English was never a strong subject for me which is why all my reports and quotations are done on laptop and spell check helps me out

I'm sure I could make a bloody good stab at it, but to be honest my interest waned when the thread started getting unnecessarily shirty......

To me any response to a topic should be welcomed as long it's not a personalised attack and remains within forum rules .....

Not at all, it's your profile and if someone takes offence then all they have to do is move on.

At the end of the day writing professional, suggests you have a career and busy life that matters outside FAB.

No don't remove it. I'll never understand why people get so angry about one word people use to describe themselves. You don't have to justify how you describe yourself.

According to my professional body and regulator my position is professional. I am however dyslexic so my spelling and grammar somewhat hinder that perception for others.

When naked or clothed I find people who need status tend to be less fun than those who like to please others around them.

Generosity of sprit and nature good humour and smiling is far more important.
