I'm tired of this now, I'm sending out mail after mail and not getting anything back.

I'm a nice guy and I can definitely say with confidence that if we got together, it could be the start of something great.

But no matter how many emails I send to potential employers, I just don't get anything back. How am I supposed to find a new job

Do you KNOW how many CVs employers get?

If they replied to them all then they'd have to, I dunno, employ someone in an administrative position to do that!

If they like you they'll respond. If they don't there's plenty of other employers out there - there's bound to be one for you!

Also I image not that many swingers really looking for the thing you're looking for where you are if restricted to local

That can be the most frustrating thing about finding work.

It's best to just keep trying. Persistence often shows an employer the dedication in which you have

Well just a no thank you would be fine. Not replying is just rude and ignorant

I've never been to a job club, I'm trying to stay discreet, I'd hate for someone to recognise me and tell my current employer

Good luck with your interview.

Could always be worth tweaking your profile (CV) to draw more attention to you.

No but why should that matter? Its a job site, employers should just give me a job

It's probably because you've listed far to many previous jobs on your cv and they're put off that you're a job hopper. Hide some of those previous career hops.

bristol

A good example is a uni...

Last year for 8 spots on the paramedic science course bristol uni received over 250,000 applicants.

Those who were chosen had been preparing for it for the last few years at least.

Most employers advertise for one post and get 1000s.

An aimed CV at the job your going for will always increase your chances of getting on the short list rather than a generic statement.

Most jobs have a section now for a personal statement...again aim that towards the job you are aiming for rather than a generic copy and paste job.

Another thing to remember is most employers now do a google search on you and will trawl the internet finding out everything they can.

Just remember that if it doesn't go your way then it's clearly their fault and they're stupid.. be sure to tell them so in public too

good one for the innovative humour

re the emailed CV & job knockbacks.

I'm sure you've already thought of this, but in these days (depending on what job you're application is for) why not hand deliver the cv to the reception, when you're dressed smartly (if it's applicable) and make an impression, that way?

CV's & emails - easy to bin them off.

Face to face, person to person, might not get you the job, but they're less likely to forget you.

Don't give up or get disheartened. It only takes one moment, to be successful. Bit like Fabs !!

(Turns up unannounced at a fabber's house for a face to face. Gets arrested. )

Humour aside, damn good advice!
