It depends.

I do like long hair on a lady as a rule but some short styles are incredibly hot too.

I think it depends on the face, bone structure etc.

sometimes long is amazing and looks gorgeous, and the same with short, it's certainly more than the length alone though, different styles work with different faces to varying degrees.
