how often should you see a fwb

im just wondering what anyone thinks to how much you should see a regular fwb if you have good chemistry in all areas as im in a situation with a person like this who ive seen for 3 yrs + on a regular basis up to 3 times a week sometimes & its fantastic,he's now saying he's falling for me,but being a bit distant & has got a partner,i feel like im loosing him & don't want to,i feel sad & wondering how anyone else would cope with the situaiton,we both like one another alot .

I've had a few friendships like this but never saw any of them that often, more like once every 2 or 3 weeks. Perhaps the more you see them the more likely it is for one party to develop romantic feelings?

i have thought exactly that but he's made it clear he won't leave her for anyone,i think they have too much of a good life together,financially & things like that,he's an older guy & says he doesn't want to loose everything at his time of life.

I know that, lol. But why is he being distant. He has a woman with all the financial trappings, he is having sex with someone else very frequently. What else does he want from her ?

Do you think you've fallen for him to? 3 years is a long time and seeing each other as often as you do sounds like something more than just fwbs to me.

If you want more but he doesn't might it be time to move on before it goes any deeper?

i do think the falling for feelings are mutual & yes i agree that seeing someone for 3 yrs plus is a very long time & still enjoy every opportunity we have,ive accepted his situation by having a partner but im the single person so can have my cake & eat it too .
