Around a year or so. He quite often works abroad and my work place changes so we were speaking for some time before our calenders aligned. It made it all the better for when we did meet in an odd sense. My next meet we've been speaking for about five monthsish? And I'll finally meet them next month.

4 years! He was one of the first guys I chatted to on the site and we stayed in contact through various profile incarnations. He travelled all over the world, and we just never managed to meet up - until recently he texted to say he was 10 mins from where I worked and did I fancy a coffee? It was the most spontaneous meet I've ever had and I've never been so nervous, but it was lovely

My one and only solo meet so far was almost three months before we met for a social...and will be almost three months later that we meet again...have another social this week with someone I've been chatting to for a couple of months.

Three years for me ... we both kept moving around and then ended up from being half hour away to six hours away

So it took a while to sort that one out

The longest for me was around 7/8 months. We stayed in touch and I have to say it was worth the wait. My work doesn't always allow easy meet arrangements so patience is key (As shag would say)
