"I had orange wee once. Im not sure what the medicine was, Id been around someone with meningitis and it was a preventative thing! " Rifampicin causes orange pee, tears and sweat. It is usually given as a combination with clindamycin to treat hidradenitis suppurativa. I didn't get as far as having the orange bodily fluids. The clindamycin caused a clostridium difficile infection which can be life threatening if untreated and i had to stop all medications.

Now people are developing resistance to it, hence you are now on doxycycline.

Clarithromycin is flavour of the month near me. Huge yellow tablet, nasty on the tummy. Irritates your veins too, if given by a drip

"I'm taking Lymecycline atm, similar to you Op for 3 months and told to stay out of the sun. But I go out twice a day with my dog for walks and it hasn't affected me yet, thank goodness. I'm also taking drugs for a brain tumour. There are only 3 drugs on the market that treat my condition and I have side effects from them all. One gives me horrendous nausea, another muscle weakness and the third chest congestion. So they are rotating them... it's back to nausea atm. Is not much fun taking meds! Hope your chest gets better soon x" Thanks. I hope you get better soon to
