Had to Google - thought this was a 'Six Million Dollar Man' thing. Apparently it's not.

Never seen it and I guess you're not recommending it??

I occasioned upon it whilst channel hopping and was taken aback by the total lack of any redeeming entertainment value......

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

It was a struggle to fill the programming with decent TV programmes when there was only 3 channels...

Now there seems to be thousands so some stuff is just gonna be utter shite..

I must admit I did find myself laughing at it ,,,,, but not for the right reasons if you catch my drift...... I prefer my Freeview habits to contain archaeology or satirical high jinks......

yeah there's neither of those things. and the stupid american thing of saying pointless stuff to big yourself up or 'crush' your opponents is annoying.

but, i used to like watching strong man contests so it's kind of my thing, plus my youngest 2 sons are wrestling mad so they enjoy this kind of thing.

I've never been a fan of beefy muscles and the hammy acting makes me cringe. They must train an awful lot though.

It's actually one of my guilty pleasures. Love Steve Austin since I was a kid and was obsessed with wrestling

yeah they do train loads. and eat tonnes of protein.

is a bit hammy now you mention it. still not as much as wrestling itself.
