Do you still bring elements of it to your social life or use it when not in work?

examples: If your a chef and went out for a meal could you just enjoy the dish as it was or would you pick fault with it?

If you were a Doctor and someone needed help would you help or would you just walk away?

I tend to switch off from my work role, however your work and training does influence the way you resolve issues in every day life. So I guess your work does affect your private life to an extent, whether you are conscious of it or not.

I can never get away from work unfortunately, just have to look out the window and it's there. Do get told off by K when we go on holiday though, as I have a tendancy to visit similar sites when abroad.......even on our 25th wedding anniversary, I thought it was a treat, needless to say she didn't lol

I leave it behind as much as possible, I'm usually there 12 plus hours every weekday, and am well fed up at the end of it. That said, if someone asks for my help, I'll freely give it.

I specialise in performance management programmes so on a meet if people are not maintaining productivity measures.. x amount of thrusts per minute, after job work, offline activities, customer satisfaction measures.... I have something to say about it.

I test condoms for a living... of course I try not to pick fault during meets but I just can't help myself

My social life isn't affected at all though

only to help in their understanding of it and suggest things to consider should anyone ask. Other than that it's a boring subject which most people don't want to know about or get aggressive about. Do Switch off work at 1 second past 5 as we work to live not live to work

I have a keen eyes for details, and cannot help but see and find faults. I have learned to be more tolerant with imperfections though, as I am not perfect myself.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

After cutting umpteen acres of school playing fields each day, cutting the lawn is the last thing I want to do! Shame I can`t get the tractor and gang mower in to do it!

We have been on the receiving end of someone who couldn't leave thier work at work! We were at a small club and chatting to a really attractive couple. We started talking about cars (a bloke thing? Except Katie xx)and he told me that the car I arrived in was a load of crap! He said I should change it and "have you thought about a peugeot?" He then tried to give me his card but we cut the chat short!

I told him what I thought of the Peugeot range and told him they look fookin awfull with that stupid big mouth on the front! (didn't go down well!)

Thing is he called my car crap and yet told me he didn't even own one! Not the best way to start a sex fuelled frenzy! Problem was, they were both luverly lookin!

certain aspects from work have crept in to day to day life . i worked before as deparment manager in a store and hubby hated going shopping with me as id cringe at the lack of customer service and cleaniness of shops .now im a customer services when i phone anywhere i can be very untolerent of poor customer service .i am however much more awear of my own manners and tone when calling ,and very apriciative of quality service . always make sure i give praise where its due as know too well its wayyyyy to easy just to give feed back on the negative exsperiences .
