I think the only time that would be the case is when another attached male or TV is looking to play with another man. There is a perseption, rightly or wrongly that a married man is somehow less likely to have unsafe sex, and for fear of getting caught, more discrete.

Whilst I can see the logic in this, I'm not convinced it works in reality.

But I can absolutely say 100% that when I used to go out with my ex on a night out I would get looked at a LOT.

All my mates say exactly the same thing.

When you're in a relationship all of a sudden you're getting chatted up and all sorts...however go out up town when you're single. ...women don't even bat an eyelid.

And this is the case for virtually every bloke I know.

It's weird.

2 weeks after I got married (long time divorced now) I had THREE married guys at work blatantly suggest an affair and two of them my husband also worked with and considered friends

I think some people just want what they can't have and view it as a challenge

Physiological evidence suggests yes. There are a number of studies. The Swedish study is particularly good.

Oh definitely yes. When I have been in a restaurant or at a show with one woman then others will slip me their number. Its the same in bars: if one is accompanied then other women give inviting smiles. Women are quite ruthless in this respect.
