I was told recently I had a gorgeous face - that was the first time in 53 years give or take a couple of weeks. That one data point doesn't counter a lifetime with a very different set of adjectives to describe it. However it was a lovely compliment given who it was from.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For me a guy that I get to know can become absolutely gorgeous to me whereas before getting to know him I didn't think so at all!

Some people know they're stunning and fair enough but I prefer the ones that are modest with it.

I take someone calling me 'stunning' on here with a huge pinch of salt, 'fab stunning'!

Whether I'm actually 'stunning / gorgeous ' is subjective, everyone will have a different POV.

I do think tho my overall look is pretty good & if that makes me seem big headed then so be it.

I think I scrub up OK but I am too full of common sense and a sense of perspective to ever consider myself full time gorgeous. Plus when I do scrub up I tend to do so wearing contact lenses and can't see quite as well as I can with my glasses so I look a bit soft focus anyway.

Some do, and some have absolutely no idea...equally there are others who aren't yet believe all the fabs and insincere fawning and think they're God's gift.

I take everything I'm told on Fab with a pinch of salt. Compliments received in the real world are far more sincere.

Be great if they could make prescription filters for mirrors.. no-one steal that idea!!!

I know I need botox on my forehead and my nose is teeny bit bent at the bottom but we have to love ourselves first! If we dont no-one else will see it that way

it's a tricky one on fab. because I can not take any compliment on here serious. i rather as people who know me and are honest. my sister told me that I am not really good looking but know my way around how to make what I have look good. plus for me its much more the personality that makes someone attractive. some people might not be good looking but still make everyone's head turn!

There's a big difference being told it, and believing it.

I know I'm not ugly. Handsome maybe, but I don't believe I'm gorgeous, I wish I could, and maybe I will one day.

Would I have something done? Maybe. But if I felt I was gorgeous I wouldn't.

But if you already know your gorgeous, do you actually believe it, or do you need to be told?

A lot of beautiful people have ruined their natural beauty. Meg Ryan for example. Did she not get told it enough?

Apparently (I found out through a thread here recently) clubs only let you in after you've submitted your face pic and they deemed you worthy of entry to an event.

People that attend those might 'look' gorgeous. But they're not truly gorgeous in my opinion.

Your right, I can't quite put my finger on the things that make me stare at someone's beauty.

Well put. I think there are some who are very arrogant in their self belief, yes have confidence but be humble enough to know that actually you aren't all that to every single person who claps eyes on you.

The whole package makes people gorgeous in my eyes, rather than just stand alone looks.

No, we saw this guy at AbFab touting business; we declined; we instead joined Killing Kittens. If I remember correctly, This guy was promoting Cityslickers. Kind of hypocritical if one is that large and is running an event only for slimmer people
