Lunch break......

How important is it to you, do you take full advantage of it or spend it at your desk or even just work through it?

I like to give myself an hour and a half everyday, to enjoy my lunch break as my time to ponder, reflect on the day ahead and to munch my pieces of course

If possible , work permitting always take a lunch break. Sometimes I go get a pedicure, just listen to music or go out with a colleague for something to eat. I find lunchtimes quite sociable.

I work shifts, 7-7, and I get an hour to take however I like.

Graft on through til around 2ish, have 40 minutes. Then work til 5ish and then take the other 20.

If I'm feeling a little mischievous, I may take a quick 10 minutes in the morning.

I do shifts of 12 hours and get 2 x 30 min breaks,I especially need them to recharge when i'm on nights.

I get 30 mins unpaid lunch break. We dont have a staff room unless i walk over to the main building but that takes most of the 30 mins. So generally i sit in a small cramped area of one room. While there we all frequently get disturbed and have to answer the door or phone. Deal with clients. Give information to the boss. Its not relaxing at all

Depends which job im at. In shop i should get 2 half hour breaks but doesnt always happen depending on how busy it is, have at least one of them.

With kids i dont get a break, i eat when i have chance to

On mine now. Very important to me and I ensure I get away from my desk and go out for a stroll.

Me time and reflection is an important part of my working day in an effort to ensure and maintain positivity and mental wellbeing

Traffic land

Depends how busy I am, but I often use it as the opportunity to a supermarket shop or put a load of washing in/hang laundry out (I live a 10 min walk from the office).

Other than that I'd grab a coffee and catch up with colleagues or friends
