Radley

Too many songs to choose from and depends on the mood. One of my favourite songs of all time is Romeo and Juliet so that would probably take care of the '80s. Beyond that - too hard man.

it is a bit of a daft question tbh..there are loads more songs that are my favourites and to narrow it down to one means to give a disservice to all the other great bands and singers over the years...

are you a control freak OP?

Manchester

This could change everyday but I'll go with...

60's - The Beach Boys - I Just Wasn't Made For These Times

70's - Fleetwood Mac - Sara

80's - Dexys - This Is What She's Like

90's - Manic Street Preachers - A Design For Life

00's - Desire - Under Your Spell

10's - David Bowie - Lazarus

Weird, not reflective of my tastes really but there you go.

Mr

...Up on the Downs

Well the song voted greatest of all time was from the sixties so....

60's - Stairway to Heaven - Led Zep

And the next decade definitely belonged to Floyd so...

70's - Great Gig In the Sky (from Dark Side) - Pink Floyd

And the decade following was dominated by one person...

80's - Thriller - Michael Jackson

So I'd have to give the 90's to the other vocal genius...

90's Different Corner - George Michael

The noughties, hmmm, well one video springs to mind so..

00's - Clocks - Coldplay

And I'm gonna cheat on the last one 'cos I didn't discover it til the 10's

Gravity - John Meyer.

80's: Every rose has it's thorn - Poison

90's: Prince in a paupers grave - Carter USM

Lots of great and mixed choices.
