What can you do I am getting messages from. Various women from this man from last year I told I was straight he reported me now he is pretending to be a woman needing help

It's pointless.

There is someone actively on here, a female, who has had very personal details of a female friend of mine, including place of work, social media accounts (before my friend had to shut all of them down) and workplaces of people close to her.

And they didn't do anything..

Well not seen him outside luckily so as far as u no he doesn't no my life that is not on here which is good.

But if I create a new account obviously be same thing.

And I reported his old profile got a message early saying your still here from a new male account blocked again then from a female account and my profile clearly says straight.

Admin do all that they reasonably can but ultimately you may have to take more steps, such as involving the police, hiding your account via settings or even staying away for a while etc.

Police did nothing with my ex letters texts calls emails contacting my mates family.

Police said we have told her to stay away but kept trying.

Cheers but police have failed me in past luckily once I moved she stopped pestering.

That and my little sis talking to her I think.

Can I just clarify that you've totally misinterpreted a joke comment -- I jokingly "stalk" Jim hence he was jibing me, as I was him. Sorry to hear you're having troubles dude - but don't assume everyone's out to get you.

You don't have any verifications so delete your account and start afresh using a different location,a new profile text and no identifiable pics. Block the offending accounts immediately. Might help.

My comment was very non-confrontational, and I'm as free as the next to post in the forum -- I also, as soon as I saw misinterpretation following Jim's comment rectified the situation with the OP with no problems. If we are now going carte blanche on patronising, why don't you stop feeling the need to police me?

As alluded to up the thread there doesn't appear to be much anyone can do about it. If it's serious I would suggest reporting to the police.

Just letting you know not everything is a joke to people,it's pretty tedious when somone starts a serious thread about something they're worried about and you get someone being silly on it. I'll leave you to it.

As alluded to up the thread there doesn't appear to be much anyone can do about it. If it's serious I would suggest reporting to the police.

I guess the main problem is, that many folk would feel slightly embarrassed doing that?

Ultimately you have to take some responsibility on this site for your own safety?

Providing personal information and phone numbers or addresses can leave you vulnerable,especially if you're not well acquainted.

Everything you post here can become freely available on the WWW! I wouldn't have a profile pic as my face for security reasons. Just a personal perspective though.

I've had one. He deleted his 5th profile that he's had since January 3 weeks ago. They're the only ones I know about. He's probably still using the site on other fake profiles. There's not a lot you can do really except being careful filtering messages.

Horrible situation for anyone to be in.

Maybe filter everyone out from messaging you. Do your own searching then he/she can't message you. Nit ideal but might help. I'm sure they'll get bored eventually.

Yeah I guess so but fronting it is a way of dealing with it.

I think some people give away far too much personal info unwittingly on here at times. Where they live, what their career is for example ~ there are some sad individuals out there for whatever reasons will make note and use against.

Set your messages filters so you can't receive any from newbies, not verified, profiles without photos or non site-supporters. Remove your profile pic, change your write up so it doesn't make it obvious that it is you. Change your location.

I have had my fair share of stalkers on here... men copy and pasting my basic profile... I know crazy right!

Looking at my profile to let me know they have my text... creating multiple profiles to message me (that includes messages from couples and women) there are always tell tell signs! Best thing to do is ignore, delete, block and report. Let Fab deal with any potential fakes and timewasters. Don't let anyone ruin your FUN time on here.

Having said that...

I had a female stalker! That is a whole long story so short version is:

She was the worst ever!! She messaged me to ask how she can find me in the forums because she lost me!!

I told her about the green tick technology ffs and then that made me her assistant stalker!! Omg

Well... it appeared she just had too much energy and wanted sexercise... so all good in the end and happy days

I have had male and female stalkers. I assume maybe because I've blocked them because I did not wish to meet with them or communicate with them. Stalking is against Fab rules and people who try to intimidate or make somebody get stressed are just miserable in their own lives, probably insecure and jealous...in my humble opinion obviously?
