There's always lots of criticism of men's profiles and the cliches used that make us roll our eyes -I don't bite, unless you want me to being an example.

What sort of things on a woman's profile do you find yourself rolling your eyes at and deciding not to message them or to ignore the profile?

We don't message single women at all anymore because it seemed like we never had any success. So I'd say, just seeing that a profile belongs to a single woman is enough to make me not write a message.

Ok, one that always makes me roll my eyes is when their profile is one long list of rants of what someone must and must not do to meet them and then at the end they put "I sound like a bitch but I'm a nice person really"

I think that's a bit unfair... I don't have it on my profile, but I would be one who expects a bit more than 'fuck & run' from a meet... When I consider someone's assets, their mind and wit are just as important as their physical attributes and deserve equal attention. I'm not looking for a relationship by any means, but intelligent conversation and an engaging personality that laughs me into bed will take priority for me over a 'panda' type any day

I've been on many socials that have been drinks only, apart from one case where we had a meal, but I have seen profiles that have listed their wants, and they do come across like they're looking for more than just uncomplicated sex.

Plus poorly worded and spelt profiles. Lists of do's and don'ts.

Whiney status updates about how bad the place is.

To be fair I could go on but those are major bug bears.

All the negative ones, that begin with - "I don't", have - "I can't" in the middle and end with "I won't".

A negative attitude is off putting.

Also the ones that say they do not meet.

Not meeting is code for - I just want to be flattered online.

And the ones who have been on for months, but have no verifications - Code for timewasters.

Some people make it clear they are not meeting, because they are maybe starting a new relationship, and just staying on here to chat to friends. Have health problems, just had an operation etc, and not able to meet. As long as they clearly state they are not meeting, they are not wasting anybody's time.

Those not verified for months ? It took me over a year to be verified. First 2 men I met, were not verified, so couldn't verify me.

My profile must put a lot of people off and that's fair enough but I'm here to find something that works for me and it does. I don't expect a guy to be drooling over me or be gym ripped etc because I'm no model but I'm honest and have a sense of humour

So say a decent guy who you'd potentially get along famously with, views your profile when it's quite shitty, won't he then form an opinion based on that?

Do you really think he or anyone else is likely to re visit it and change his first opinion because you've re written some words? First impressions etc?

I get the frustration single women must endure on here, but always thought ranty profiles alienate themselves from decent guys who will invariably just think .....

I'll give that a miss.

I don't see why it's a must for verifications to be displayed! It's up to the individual and I know some veris are fake anyway!!!
