Leaving the scene tomorrow..

Just watching 'Benidorm' from a couple of weeks ago. Jaqueline goes to see a psychic and instead of wanting her husband to come chat she asks to speak to 'Sammy the tranny' a friend 'from the brighton set'.

This got me to thinking. I bloody love the social element of it all... thats what keeps me... i could go to any town in britain and someone would meet me for a pint!

So, question is... if someone told you to delete everything swinging related now and not contact swing friends could you just 'do' it? I couldnt i know that for sure xx

Haha.

Not wishing to sound like I'm fishing for any type of reviews. But I could easily leave, nobody would miss me.

Maybe if I was here longer it would be different. I've learned quickly that it's difficult to find actual friends here. You guys quickly come and quickly go, so to speak.

To be honest, im coming back into it aftera long break, but even whilst i was away i kept in contact with a few people.

Swinging has been a big part of my life and some of the people i have met i will always been good friends with so no personally i couldn't..

If someone asks you to completely remove everything from an aspect of your life then they dont respect your choices about your life, past or present

No I don't think I could...well I certainly wouldn't want to.

Some of my closest friends are people I've met from fab, I love the forums and the lifestyle and I'd hate to leave x

To be honest we have more fun in "real life" so could easily walk away.

Yes, but I have no attachments on the scene - I'm only on here for the forum these days and I doubt anyone would really miss my contribution

Well I haven't had a meet in months and I don't have any real friends here, so yes, I could walk away easily.

I've just up and left many times.

In my experience you don't really make "friends" here...I wouldn't miss anyone. Only thing I'd miss is the amount of sex because in the real world I don't pursue it like I do here. Not even on a night out.

Yes, i don't have swinging related friends so i wouldn't actually miss anyone.

When i leave and rejoin Fab it's because i'm bored and Fab just fills a void.

I have left other sites and not gone back. This is no different. I don't swing so wouldn't miss the "scene". I just miss sex.

Ditto but I would miss the forums and a few I chat/meet with so would struggle to leave completely

Not really on the scene as much now, but was here as a single fem as well. Had so much fun and made lots of friends over the years, I would miss it lots and would end up dipping in every now and again I think even if we didn't,play with others anymore we would still go to clubs.

I couldn't leave the scene no. The clubs are too much of a draw for me.

.

I left last year for 3 months, It wasn't the sex that I missed as I normally go without it for 3-6 months or longer at times, The forums/chat rooms keep me entertained in the evening, People have come and gone throughout my life, Old work colleagues or when friends move away, I do miss some of them,

Over the years I have made friends with a few people on here, They have all left now and I only occasionally chat to one of them

If were able to keep in touch with friends, can we make them our FWBs? In which case, yes I could definitely do it

I'm torn on this. Part of me says yes. I could walk away tomorrow if I wanted to.

But part of me knows I probably couldn't. The sex is great. But the people are better.

It's scary/sad that I don't have the inner strength to walk away.

Hull but travel regularly

I did leave but seemed to have that bouncy string attached to me that brought me back within 2 weeks! I travel a lot so I find swinging clubs friendly and safe places to go to as a single woman wherever I am, even if just to chill out. I have friends in real life from the scene all over the country now so no, I doubt I could ever properly leave

Pulling the pin on the scene is far easier than pulling the pin on friends.

So many people have made great friends in the scene, I suspect for many that turning those back on it wholesale would be both difficult and emotional.

no matter

Nope! no one important enough to leave for in my life.

I like reading the forums and seeing things unfold. Passes the time makes me feel less solitary.

i actually cried when my friend left fab and i had no way of contacting her. i was happy coz i presumed she'd left coz she had got what she wanted and didn't need here any more and she said bye but i was still upset.

apart from that i would miss some things but i could leave here if i had to. i know i've never been a swinger and just love sex but when i was looking for sex i was desperate to get off here for good coz i'm not finding the type of guys i want on here. now i'm more chill about it and not even meeting, and got rid of everyone i never want to hear from again, so i am enjoying this site more coz of that.

i'm not really here for anything and fab pretty much is my only contact with swingers and the swinging world so i would miss it but it's not vital to me.

I left here for a year just to prove a point to those that said I couldn't give it up. Im here for the social side of things. I'm here now, I could disappear again at any time.

Was part of a couple swinging at the time, then left the scene.

Came back after a couple of years break, whilst children grew up a bit.

returned to find scene had changed a bit and joined a decent site.

I would leave again.
