Now that is rude, i also think when i hold a door or someone had for me a thank you is nice, even people you let pass on the pavement or in a shop just saunter on!

The holiday is for my mate,his wife and his kids,,,I payed for a holiday for them that I heard them talk about a year ago,looking at this now it doesn't matter if he says it all that matters and will show me more than words is that they all go enjoy there first ever holiday

like now he just expects you to do things for him and (to him) all you did was fulfil his expectations.

not sure how you get him to lower his expectations or have him act grateful. if you don't then he will always act this way.

Him and his wife finally come round and said thank you and apologised for not saying it early as he was too excited and wanted to share the news with his family
