Strangely this doesn't both me? I think it does clearly depend on the circumstances, but we are all born and we will all die. My thoughts are why be scared of it? It's peaceful for most x

I see what your saying misterbee, I truly enjoy my life also. I've seen life torn from people far too young and I know how devastating that was to them and family. That's why I'm here, living my life for me.

And death moves closer with every ticking moment. . And as you said, it's unavoidable. It's not like avoiding height or running from spiders. I chose a phobia I can't avoid. I'm a dick.

Slugs. My heart is racing just typing this. It's irrational and I hate that they make me feel this way.

I trod on one years ago in bare feet and it's got so bad, I won't go outside in slug weather without a very bright torch and I now live in a second floor apartment.

I've said this before and it's going to sound mad but my worst phobia, more revolting than slugs, is tomato ketchup. It literally brings me out in a cold sweat and makes me want to throw up - I can't bear seeing it, even on other people's food, having the bottle anywhere near me ... it genuinely freaks me out.

Definitely heights, last year painted my house exterior the gable end hard as I tried not a hope could I go any higher on the ladder. A neighbour of mine came in & said he'd give me a hand. I thought super job , he said "up you go I'll hold the ladder for you" nervously I proceeded then froze was stuck up there for the best part of two hours ...... not a good look well for me anyways .....I'm sure he enjoyed though

And another fear of being in large bodies of water which apparently stems from when I was taking swimming lessons and never managed to learn how to swim and kept being pressured and ridiculed for it. . . Still want to learn though haha

Escalator's

Bridges

Surprise myself sometimes that I can ever leave the house!
