Is swinging an addiction?

I've asked a few people about this, some claim they're addicted to swinging, and are happy to admit it, others just like to dabble and can take it or leave it. I am not sure if it is or not though, what you do think, is it an addiction?

anything can be addictive. I am a bit fickle so unlikely to stick with anything long enough for it to become an addiction.

Yes unfortunately for me it is a kind of addiction caused by certain things way back in my personal life

An addiction is defined by a habit that you continue to pursue irrespective of the damage it may cause to your life in other areas... for me it is a fun part of my life but it does not affect other areas... except when I occasionally forget I am with vanilla people and make remakrs that are a bit too risque for the non swinging world...;-)

By definition addiction is something that we are dependant on. I love swinging, ive always swung but i dont depend on it. I could walk away anytime i wanted

yes yes and yes it is very easy to become addicted is the sex or the buzz of the next meet , but its when you burn youself out and the sex just becomes boring and the buzz is not there
