A scentless one ideally, even better if it doesn't leave the gooey feeling after application.

"Shea Butter Hand Cream -- L'Occitane"

I love this, I think it's quite scented though.

I'd recommend Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream, they do an unscented version. I had an ex with a very manual job and used to massage this in to his hands for him

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

There are creams that contain snail slime....

Seriously, they do..

Apparently this stuff is nature's super moisturising lotion.

Elizabeth Arden hand cream. I get mine from Amazon. It's expensive but well worth buying and you don't need to use much. It has a sort of clinic smell. I used to have to use lots of steriod creams and still had problems but this hand cream worked very well.

Not quite. Snail 'gel' is mainly used for healing scars. You know snails can fix their own shells if they get cracked/damaged? It is the proteins in their slime. I have a Giant African Land snail and I regularly let it climb my arms and it helps fade my scars.

In terms of actual moisturisation, I would recommend Gloves In A Bottle. It is very moisturising and leaves a non-sticky, non transferable 'barrier' on your hands to protect them. Check out their website, they can explain it better than me

Udderly smooth. Its the best moisturiser Ive ever found. It was made for cows udders but they discovered it works well on humans apparently!

London

I used to use all the expensive brands. My other half is a heating engineer and had smoother hands than me. When I asked him what he used he showed me: Cien from Lidl, they have a whole range.

He cheekily bought me the anti aging one...I love it!

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

My mum years ago said about snail slime making her hands feel "Teflon coated" after a day of relocating the little buggers from her garden to the field next door..

A few months later she spotted snail slime serum hands and face creams in shops and on line..

Apparently the French escarguoille were renowned for their soft hands and by all accounts.

How they collect the slime, I have no idea..

No debenhams and their own stores, you can buy it online, biggest tubes are about £19 but you only need a small amount and last ages
