Ankle bracelet

Is an ankle bracelet a sign of a swinger? My mate tells me that most female swingers will wear one to let people know? Can anyone tell me if there is truth in this?

That's what I was told, and then shoes with ankle straps replaced them. I wasn't allowed the latter by my parents, for this reason.
