Either. Depends on how long the kettle is taking and if I'm making coffee for someone at the same time.

I only have a dash anyway

The mere fact your asking suggests you're a tea philistine

Milk first prevents the leaves flavouring the water correctly if the bag is in the cup....of course pouring brewed from a fine China pot onto milk is fine.

Boiling water burns leaves.

I don't use milk in either tea or coffee as it spoils the taste. Nice cup of earl grey and a slither of lemon or not is the winning way

Milk first was only ever done by people who had poor quality china, they had to put it in first to prevent it cracking but the correct method is at the end!
