is there a moment in your life where if you had made an alternative choice - your life would have been so different- im not talking having that curry for tea - with me it was ever starting to date that guy in the office - divorced 20 years later

Oh yes ... a number of crap serious relationship choices which had far reaching and long lasting repercussions. Conversely, either not recognising, or having too little self confidence, to take advantage of opportunities which might have led to much happier and healthier relationships. Choosing the 'wrong' degree course - heart over head, wish I'd done law so badly now. Choosing the 'wrong' job offer instead of pursuing the chance to train as a zoo keeper. All sorts of things like that where my life *might* have been better had I made a different choice - on the other hand, it could have been worse. You just never know ...

Yeah there is and it came up in conversation round my parents house last week.

Looking back I was stupid to pass it up, but if the clock was turned back I bet I'd pass it up again aswell.

Because I'm that STUPID.

If I could do it all over again - I'd make the same mistakes even earlier.

How funny - I was thinking about this the other day!

Something happened a long time ago that changed the course of my life.

I made the best of it and actually had a much better life at the time.

Now I'm suffering the consequences.

While I do often wonder what would have happened if I had made different choices at certain points of my life, you never know if it would have led to something better or not. Say you went back and changed a decision, in that alternate timeline you could have been hit by a car the next day. Extreme example I know, but what I'm saying is the decisions you've made in life so far have gotten you to this point, and it could easily have turned out worse. I'm grateful for what I've got right now, and will keep making decisions for what I believe is the best right now

Yes once. I was in a position where i had three options. I took what i thought was the best. I transpired my life would have been so different if id taken either of the other choices. Im glad i took the choice i did

yes : when I was going to a party in Blackpool

I was asked to give a lady a lift, she lived in Liverpool.

So I drove from Newcastle to Liverpool picked her up then off to Blackpool

(we had chatted in the fab chat rooms but never met face to face)

but we hit it off right away despite a 20yr age gap.

That was 6yrs ago and we were married in June this year
