So 'fess up everyone, who's got a gnome or two in their garden ?

I've a Buddha's head in an old trough (don't ask), but he looks very serene peeking through the poppies

Me.

My front lawn looks like the ornament section of B&Q

That's my mum's fault (it is her house/garden) - she's the same with Christmas decorations too!

I don't have a garden as such, but I have large pots with flowers in them and two large dragonflies whose wings move in the breeze..

And also two metal lizards climbing up the fence...

I have an area of my garden that I've put bark down and my son has loads of solar ornaments and lights as part of his sensory garden. It does look lovely in the summer nights when it's all lit up. X

Did you know that the garden gnome with it's distinctive red cap is a direct evolution of the Roman phallus. A phallus sculpture with painted red head was often installed in Roman gardens. Women would occassionaly, discretely pleasure themselves on it.

I'm pretty sure that most modern owners of garden gnomes aren't aware of the connection!

I also have a Buddha in my garden made of bronze. To cut a long story short it was a joke but he's remained there, and actually I would miss him if he ever went
