Do you take everyone at face value in cyber world or are you a little bit sceptical?

Do you think cyber life gives people some license to stretch the truth for the entertainment of the reader?

In a place where many seek to fulfil their fantasies, should it be accepted as part and parcel of the game that some will confuse fantasy with reality when they type?

Hell no only a fool takes everything as face value. I take onboard what is being said and make my own mind up.

So many people come up with utter crap on line i just have to laugh. A mini into a Mercedes, 5ft 3 becomes 5ft 8, 6 inches becomes 9, it goes on and on.

Should we allow people to delude themselves? Well if they want to then let them do it. I will laugh and ridicule them in private or with others as most do on here and other sites. Should we tell them we know they live in a dream world? No way its far more fun to watch them get deeper and deeper into it.

I don't believe everything I read but in relation to a site like this, I don't really care what people say unless its going to directly affect me.

In relation to describing your physical self, people should be truthful. If I want a 9 inch cock I will notice if a 3 inch guy turns up. Similarly if a guy wants a size 10 6ft model there's no point me turning up.

I don't care about wealth or employment status, if you want to say your a rocket scientist and it gives you confidence and makes you happy then so what. Unless I wanted a trip to the moon it wouldn't affect me.

A huge indicator is the language people use. I want a guy I can converse with mentally (for the first hour anyway) so someone who doesn't communicate well won't be my ideal but I would be able to tell from their messages to me.

I once had a woman message saying she was a buyer for an international cosmetics company. She sent me a pic of her wearing a cheap denim skirt, pulled back hair in ponytail and her skin was a little blotchy. I knew in an instant she did not work in the role she claimed, she would have been immaculately dressed with perfect make up and a role that like would have been based on image, imagine Vicky Pollard trying to sell Dior products.

Obviously we didn't meet her as it was a bloke anyway

+2 on the last post.

We both have a nose for fibbers, and can usually smoke them out. Just the same, we look at how people present themselves then draw our conclusions from there.

We're unconcerned, unless it affects us directly...

it depends... I do get a sense that some people do say stuff that they think will make em "look good"...

and it is interesting to see people's opinions of subject change with the winds and flip flop because people they are after disagree with the original point of _iew...

I suppose in a way I can see why people would treat what others say with a degree of suspicion until they get to know them better...

I like to believe with me, is that what you see is what you get.. but in a way until you meet people you are never going to know I suppose.....

I think you would struggle to find anyone who believes everything they read on here... in fact, I will go as far as to say there is no one....

I take such risks at times

I believe everything I read!! If it is written down it must be true!!!

Bet if you have a big telescope, you would actually see the Lancaster Bomber on the moon!! And I have it on good authority that the bus is still on the ice flow in Antarctica

Now, where was that profile I saw on here for Kylie?..

More than a little sceptical

Do you think cyber life gives people some license to stretch the truth for the entertainment of the reader?

For the entertainmet of the reader and also thinking it will some how make them more "popular"

In a place where many seek to fulfil their fantasies, should it be accepted as part and parcel of the game that some will confuse fantasy with reality when they type?

"

Absolutly and i also think some begin to forget what is reality and what isnt
