...just knocked out our network adapter!!

Took me an hour to find the problem and then a simple restore to yesterday. Fucking MicroPoop!!

Two updates never to install are anything to do with network adapters, or anything to do with Nvidia graphics cards / onboard graphics. Bad words will result if you do....

Best bet is to only install the security updates, anything else like driver updates can trash a perfectly good system.

The system updated itself without any warning or prompting from me, then restarted itself. I've now set it always require confirmation before updating anything.
