Jewellery, plus i have lots of things my kids have given me:-

15 sticks collected from woodland walks

25000 sea shells collected from various beaches up and down the Country.

3 dandelions (now dead)

1 daisy (in a glass of water, so far lasted a week).

25 leaves collected from various bushes (easy!) around the local area

I like things like that. I've collected nice stones from Tenerife and am trying to make a picture to put inside a frame using dead leaves, the ones that are just made of their veins...

Really similar to me. I like collecting the super articulated 3 3/4 scale Star Wars figures, Action Force and G.I.JOE figures. I've customised many vintage Action Force figures and vintage Action Men and Tommy Gunn dolls using modern 1/6th scale uniforms and accessories. Probably have around 400 or more dolls now...selling off some on eBay to scale back my collection though...I also like G1 and modern Transformers (not the crap movie ones)...

I also like Cobi Small Army, it's like Lego, but WW2 stuff the prices are great too...

Coins, stamps, model railway stuff, RC aircraft. Wouldn't call myself a serious collector of anything. Just accumulated a lot of crap, over the years.

It would be nice to have room for a railway layout but I'd need a bigger house, first.

More than likey, I'll end up selling the train collection, to top up my retirement spendies.

I have a whole load of model trains that I inherited from my father. He used to have whole rooms dedicated to building his sets and my uncle would paint the scenery.

I don't collect them myself, but they hold a soft spot for me and are worth more than one would think.

Nice. I usually buy Vintage Collection Star Wars figures from a guy in the Far East, at cheaper prices. All my G.I.JOE stuff is from the modern sculpted ranges. Used to have a vast vintage collection but sold it all off. I've kept my Palitoy Action Force figures and a few vehicles like the super rare Roboskull but sold the rest off...took up too much space and never displayed it all...I also have a big M.A.S.K and M.A.N.T.A Force collection.

I had listed my Centurions on eBay but fed up of rubbish offers and a time waster buying and now not paying up will keep them...

If you ever fancy chatting about toys PM me...your wife looks nice too btw.

Bet they're Triang and Triang Hornby era? Lima? Basett-Loake?

You should service them. I used to have a massive collection. It was like maintaining a real railway. Track needed cleaning, trains

needed oiling and regular running to prevent ceasing up. My favourite was the Class 31 Diesel by Triang in British Rail Green pulling freight or cream and red coaches...If I ever become a millionaire I'll be buying a massive pre fab layout with scenery...

I mostly have Lionel, O-gauge, that my dad collected. I have tons of it, though (enough stacked boxes to fill up a large room)...most of it is still in the boxes from decades ago (he only ran a small portion of his collection and always took amazing care of them). They are all in the US at the moment, so I can't run them on a regular basis, but they are stored very well in dry conditions, so I'm sure they're doing fine.

It would be nice to set a few up for Christmas again, like we did when I was a kid.

Yes it does. Never got into it myself. I do like and own many 1/32 scale Britain's Deetail and Airfix, Matchbox ww2 soldiers. I never like painting the Airfix type figures as they become more precious then. Used to love setting up battles as a kid...
