Barefoot walking

I am getting into a new hobby namely walking barefoot. Mainly in the countryside and big city parks so far but could be anywhere. I've met the odd one or two people doing the same.

Just wondering with Summer coming if any fabbers in the East Mids would care to join me on these adventures? It's more about exercise and getting in touch with nature rather than sex. Happy to travel a little way to join up. Cheers

In Australia it's a massive thing. I knew someone who hardly ever wore shoes over there.

Soft sand running and walking is meant to be excellent for you.

Love walking barefoot on sand, grass, through water, but seriously can't do sharp stones or thorns I'm like a cat on a hot tin roof

I believe going barefoot is good for the posture. It also connects you to your environment in a way that walking in footwear cannot. Half the world goes barefoot, it's only those in the West that might think it strange.

barefoot walking is fine until you tread on something sharp.. your foot gets infected.. gangrene sets it.. then you have to have it amputated.. no thanks..
