I know its been said before and the general consensus is that most women dont like guys who message the usual "babe,hun, sexy" but I seem to be encountering a lot of "alright trouble?" recently. I think it might be the worst. My grandad used to say that to me!!

It depends who's messaging me and the established familiarity. I hate pet names on an initial message it's just wrong and false. With someone you meet or have a rapport with it's actually quite nice

I'm not sure why it irritates me but I cannot stand false familiarirty such as pet names. It makes me cringe. Almost as mush as buzzwords/phrases like 'on point', 'stunning', and verifications that read like; "treat this one with respect..." Thanks for that, I treat everyone disrespectfully, but now Ricky from Scunthorpe has told me to 'treat this one with respect' I will!

I'm guilty of saying this in my personal life, when expressing gratitude for a woman's help, wherever it may be. I do think I pay more of a conscious effort to not do it when messaging though.
