Someone said on a recent similar thread on here, that I look like the late scriptwriter and broadcaster, Barry Took.

But years ago, when I worked in a hotel in a town in Suffolk, I was at that time told I was a dead ringer of "Harold Bishop" out of Neighbours. I took it all in good part, especially as everyone would hum the theme tune to the programme every time I'd pass through the Bars, but it turned to my advantage one day.

My "fans" were the students who frequented our public bar every day. One day close to Xmas, three yobs came in and started causing trouble, As Licensee, I'd to get them out, but all three turned and launched an attack on me. As I went down in a hail of punches, slaps and boots going in, I heard above the mob, "Harold's being attacked!" and 40 or so students piled in!

The Police had to be called in, not only to arrest these 3 yobs for criminal damage, but to protect them too!
